Loyola University New Orleans offers a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Health Care Systems Management (HCSM). The HCSM program focuses on knowledge and skills needed to succeed in a variety of nursing leadership positions in healthcare organizations. An RN who has a non-nursing Bachelor's degree may also be admitted to Loyola's MSN program without obtaining a BSN degree. To be admitted to the MSN program, the RN must complete Loyola's RN-MSN Bridge Program which is now offered online. Loyola University New Orleans has been educating nurses for over 25 years and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, a Commission of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools*, to award Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral (juris doctor) degrees. The HCSM program requires 36 credit hours of graduate coursework, 12 of which are devoted to core course and 24 of which are devoted to HCSM major courses.
